In short

This site is a showcase: it explains our treatments, shows our prices and sends you off to book. It does not ask you to create an account and takes no online payment today. This page states what you can expect from it, and what you must not do with it. If you buy a product, the terms of sale apply, not this page.

By using this site, you accept these terms

Browsing https://shayesthetique.ca means you accept this page. If something here does not suit you, do not use the site — call us; that remains the most direct way to reach us.

We may change these terms. The date at the top of the page then changes, and the online version is the one that applies. We do not change them retroactively for an order already placed.

The content is informational, not medical advice

The treatment and concern pages describe aesthetic services. They do not diagnose, do not recommend a treatment for your particular case and do not replace the advice of a physician, pharmacist or other healthcare professional. Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed.

Some treatments are not for everyone: pregnancy or breastfeeding, photosensitizing medication, isotretinoin, blood thinners, recent tanning, a particular skin condition. It is the in-clinic consultation, and the consent form you sign there, that determine whether a treatment suits you — not a web page.

Prices, photos and availability

Prices shown are in Canadian dollars, before applicable taxes, and are for a single treatment. They may change. A package, a promotion or a multi-session plan may carry a different price: the price confirmed at the clinic or at booking is the one that counts.

We take care to describe our treatments and products faithfully. Even so, a display error remains possible: if that happens we tell you before anything is concluded, and you remain free to walk away.

Before/after photographs show results obtained on real people, published with their written consent. They illustrate what is possible; they do not promise you the same outcome.

Booking, buying, referring

Booking

The “Book” buttons take you to Fresha, the appointment software the clinic uses. Fresha is an independent company: once you are there, its own terms and privacy policy apply to what you enter. An appointment is firm only once confirmed by the clinic. Cancellation and lateness rules are shown to you at booking.

Shop

The shop takes no online payment to date: the cart is there to prepare an order to be paid for and picked up at the clinic. Buying a product is governed by the terms of sale and by the shipping and returns page, which prevail over this page if they differ.

The skincare products sold here are cosmetics. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and, if a reaction occurs, stop using them and seek advice.

Referral program

The referral program has its own rules — who may take part, what triggers a credit, when it is paid — set out on the Referral page. Your personal code is protected by no password: whoever has it can see your tracking page. Share it only with the people you invite. We reject sign-ups made under a false identity, self-referrals and duplicates.

What you must not do on this site

Without our written permission, do not use this site to:

• extract its content, prices or images in bulk by automated means, or copy it for another business;
• submit false information, another person's details without their agreement, or fill in our forms repeatedly;
• try to reach a non-public area, get around a technical limit, or disrupt how the site works;
• publish unlawful, defamatory or misleading content on it, or pass yourself off as the clinic.

Our forms limit how many submissions come from one IP address. It is not a punishment: it is what stops a bot from drowning out a real request.

Site availability and liability

We keep this site in working order, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or error. An update, a hosting outage or a network incident may make it unavailable; we cannot compensate you for that.

The site links to third-party services — Fresha for booking, Google Maps for directions, our social media. We do not operate those services and are not answerable for their content or availability.

Our liability for the use of this site is limited as far as the law allows it to be limited. It is not limited for bodily injury, for gross or intentional fault, or for anything the Consumer Protection Act forbids us from excluding. Nor does this page touch the clinic's liability for the care it provides: that belongs to the treatment itself and to the consent you sign.

Your personal information

What we collect, why, how long we keep it, who receives it and how to access it, have it corrected or withdraw a consent: it is all set out in the privacy policy. You can review your cookie choices at any time through the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

Applicable law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Quebec, and any dispute falls to the courts of the judicial district of Montreal. If one clause of this page were held invalid, the others would remain in force.
